For example, I always call the Highlander the Kluger in my mind. Just sounds better.
Also used to call the FR-S the 86, until it actually became the 86 in North America. Used to also call the Escape the Kuga because why not.

![]() 11/30/2016 at 12:51 |

Yes, actually. I refer to Buick as it’s called in its native market: Crap.

I could call one of mine something silly and Russianized. If it were actually a Premiere, and if ‘59 Lincolns were actually sold in Russia instead of just featured in a cracktastic expo brochure.

I’ve called the Regal an Insignia at work a couple times and gotten sideways glances.

Depends... sometimes the JDM name is better... Like in the case of the Honda Civic Shuttle:
Which was a better name than “Wagovan”

Actually he resigned of his own free will.

I think I might do that deliberately if I worked at a GM dealer...

Seems like a covered up forced removal from power to me, but who knows? And it was say, not as. Damn autocorrect...

I got bored and stepped down. More money in the private sector, anyway.
![]() 11/30/2016 at 13:06 |

![]() 11/30/2016 at 13:08 |

Don’t worry about it. Autocorrect is almost always dumb.

Some say I had all of the power, some say I had to sacrifice the power for the title, all I know is that I certainly have it now.

Sometimes I call my Juke an ESQ.
![]() 11/30/2016 at 13:50 |

There are only two types of people on this thread: Those who admit to having called a car by its foreign name, and liars.
